Terry from Canada - Hi!

Its been a while since I checked the email addy attached to this blog.
Normally its full of junk mail so naturally its not one I keep a regular track of.
Today I decided to open it and there were 4 emails from a Terry from Canada.
She had responded to my previous write-ups..on Being Stars, Niagara, etc.
As those were written a while back I had not checked on the comments.

Thank you Terry.
Its always so nice to get responses from people from far away lands.
Wouldn't it have been nice if I had known about you before my Niagara trip?
I love the Niagara Falls. JAR and I walked miles and miles down the river.
Actually the prettiest waterfall I saw in the North Americas must be the Burney Falls
But no fall is as powerful as the Niagara.
I am so glad i saw the Niagara from the Canadian side.
We stayed at the Marriot.

Terry u sound like u love reading about the Royal Family of Britain.
What I know of them is limited to what I read.
But like so many others, I too rejoice in their happy occassions and am saddened by their pains.

I hope u will respond to my latter posts too, Terry.
I appreciate your taking the time to write.
My apologies for the late replies.
Hope to hear more from u and anyone else out there in the cyber world reading this.
Have a great day!!!

As I write this my house is being cleaned by three professional cleaners.
Yup, I can be blogging and yet the cleaning is being done.
Isn't life just wonderful sometimes?

The best part is that they are thoroughly cleaning the house...
every nook and corner
every coweb is being vacumned
every speck of dirt is being removed.

On my own i keep house as best as I possibly can
I am not oneof those unclean types u see on Oprah's horror stories.
My house is pretty open to visitors at any single moment.

Since I had the muscle aches, however, I was unable to keep the house at its normal standards.
Then I discovered the wonder of having professional cleaners to do it for u.
They just come for two to three hours.
Many people cleaning.
Fast. Professional.
U just have to pay them.
Not that expensive either.

I am careful though.
I am always present whilst they are working.
I dont want professional thieves disguised as professional cleaners.
I double check the doors and windows when they leave.

I have a clean house again. :)

improving

Its been a while since I last blogged.
I do write on a more consistent pace on facebook; maybe cos over there I get immediate response from the readers.

My muscles still ache but there has been some improvement since I started the thai spa massage treatment.
Thai massages are rough. The knead u, they twist u, they squeeze and maybe even hit u.
I actually prefer our own traditional masseues who are alot gentler but just as effective.
However, since the best masseurs belong to a generation prolly older than my mom's, I presume that they are prolly all dead and gone by now.
The modern masseuers are more money oriented and less effective.
So I am stuck with a foreign style of getting my body back into working condition.
I will report on any further effects of this alternative way of muscle control.

My condo is so much cleaner now.
I stopped cleaning it on my own ever since my aches.
I found a professional cleaner who comes in with her assistant.
They clean up the house in the pace of 2 and a half hours.
The first time they came, they took 3 1/2 hours.
I can pay them as long as I can good results.
The assistant (an immigrant) is slow and now as thorough in her work so I am not 100% pleased.

My cooking has somewhat improved too.
I can grill pretty well now.
Just get me fresh raw materials and I can get good food on the table!

pain

I am in physical pain.
My back hurts. My shoulders hurt. My chest hurts. My thighs hurt.
Some of those parts have been in pain for weeks.

Either I have overdone or underdone working those parts of me.

Initially I thought it was due to me carrying the hand luggage all over LAX airport cos the rollers broke.
But that was over almost three weeks ago and its already history.
I need to find a good traditional masseur.
Do they still exist in this world?

I have been to the doctor's.
Two doctors actually.
They both gave me pain killers....which killed the pain as long as I am on them.
After I completed the medication's course, the pain returns with a vengence.
Doctors say "do NOT massage the painful muscles'

My thoughts now are....since ur medications do not seem to work, lets see if alternative medicine can!"

I am still not totally over missing my stress free times of vacationing.
Especially since the past week we have been terribly busy at work.

Sometimes I wish I could dream all night and be in vacation land all over again.
