The new year begins.......

Saw the surgeon for a full report of the surgery.
The whole thingy is BENIGN! Yay!
But he did warn me that having the fibronistic D places me on a higher risk group.
My next appointment to see him is in June.
Self B examine once a month; Medical B examine every 6 months.

At least for the next few months I shall breathe easy on this.

I shall begin my physiotheraphy in two weeks.
Thats another new chapter to this new year.
I am doing something positive for the shooting pains that runs from my hips to my legs.
I no longer feel the pains much since I was put on tramadol....a pain killer.
I need to do the physio cos I do not plan to live my whole life on pain killers.
Hopefully the pains can be contained via the exercises they will be teaching me.

Spoke to JAR this morning.
He is doing alot of hiking with his brothers.
At their age, I salute their strength and agility to be so physically active.
I MUST get stronger before I visit them later this year.
I hope to join them in one of the simpler hikes.
We are discussing places to visit.....Florida? Kentucky? Washington? Seattle again? Mount Rushmore?
We've seen so many places over the past decade but America is so huge that there are a million nore places to go to.
JAR is an experimenter cook and he uses his engineering skills in his cooking.
He really is a good cook and puts me to shame on this.

I am so looking forwards to ny next vacation!

oh wow!..i have been so tied up the last week that i have missed this great news!
june ,do you still have my email address.?..please let me know when something important happens like this.
it is not that i have forgotten you but the holidays left me so exhausted..five get togethers was way too much for me!
i think i would rather just stay at home these days and the weather is so cold too.
i am so glad that you were talking to jar and i know he must be so happy too that you are benign!
and your pain isn't as great.
and now the next step, you will be getting rid of those leg pains!
that will come in handy when you take those long hikes with jar and his brothers without having that pain.
the sisterhood of the traveling scarf is having a reunion in idhao in october and i really wanted to go and actually told mrs. mac, i would be able to but then i had to decline because they are going on nice hikes and i sure wouldn't want to be in the way of that with my limping..ha!
right now that bernie is laying down for a rest. yesterday he got pretty sick...i still haven't written my ruby post but i wanted to write to you first.ther
i have another friend who i had to write to first too, her name is donna and she writes poems. a year ago betty and i met her in canada at niagara on the lake[near niagara falls] and we had mom golden with us. we had such a great time..i am going to email you some pictures...

Hi Terry,
I was wondering if u were ok cos I had not heard from u in a bit.

5 get togethers?! Wow thats certainly quite a bit of socializing. Begining and year ends do bring about such activities, doesn't it?

I hope Bernie is better. Its always worrying when a friend isn't well.

I am having a busy but happy time at work since the new year began. In fact I was so busy this morning that I completely forgot to phone JAR! Now its already past his bed time so I will try to do so tomorrow.

Nowadays whenever I see lots of red stuff I will be reminded of ur Ruby Tuesdays! And with the Chinese New Year coming up next month, the city here will be decorated with lots of red.(its an auspicious colour to the Chinese).

More later!
Love,
June

Hello there Terry,

I got to talk to JAR today and that was good.

We dont skype. We used to talk using the computer and camera a few years ago but no longer do so. When we both shifted houses I think we prolly lost our computer cameras! We've been best buddies for quite a while now and keep each other updated via our facebook, emails and phone calls. O yeah, there's the visits too.

Its so sad when u lose a pet so I can understand Bernie missing his cat. My late dad loved having birds and fish for pets. However before his passing he lost some and gave away some.
My mom and I have since decided that we were not having any more pets. Its difficult when u choose to travel and have to leave the poor animals behind.

Back to work now. Chat with u soon.

Ouch!
I do hope u didn't hurt yourself too seriously.
Its terrible when something like that happens.
Today my left leg was giving me some pain. I am so glad that tomorrow I have my first physiotherapy appointment. It will be a new experience and I hope its the 'magic' that I need to overcome the pain.
I read on your webpage that its snowing where you are. That sounds so exciting for people living near the equator. Here its always so warm and humid.
Chat more later.
