Lump 5

Wednesday.
Peak time at work about to begin.
Bring it on!

When u r busy, its also time u tend to get more creative.
I channel my thoughts via my blog when there is a short break.
It helps to keep me focused.

I will be working this Sunday too.
Thus I shall make sure Saturday is a day of fun as well as rest.

The biopsy has left the left side of my right breast feeling rather hard.
I have more friends in the know and its ok.
I appreciate it when they listen and are concerned.
However I dont keep all my conversations just about the Lump.
Life is not going to be that boring for me.
The closure (I hope!) should be in a couple of weeks.

The cleaners for my condo come every fortnight.
They were there yesterday.
On every visit I learn from them what are the best detergent or floor cleaner or toilet cleaner or type of wash cloth or mop or whatever that are available in the market.
Each person is an expert in what they do, so the cleaners are the best persons to tell me the truths about the various cleansers in the market.
People miss out the opportunity to learn from the 'experts' mostly because they only identify experts via formal qualifications.

OK time to go back to work.

dear june...just the other day i met an older gentleman whose wife used to work at the nursing home where i worked.
i was a nurse's aide and she was a cleaner.
i told that man that one thing i have always noticed about the janitors and cleaners in the hospitals is that the patients preferred them to every other people who worked. they wore no "fancy hat" but they were always willing to give the elderly the "time of day"...they always listened to their repetitious stores and always lent them a listening ear while they went about their duties of cleaning up a room...so so nice!
everybody's job is important and we all need each other.

it is only still tuesday here!
take care june ...love terry

dear june...ruby tuesdays is a meme i joined about a year ago.
the lady that has it is called mary the teach and every week we take pictures of red things and make a post of it.
i found that sticking to this schedule that it has improved my blogging.
before i was blogging very little.
it is quite fun but sometimes it takes a fair amount to time.
this week i made a happy birthday post for my friend , mr jim who i have known for a few years now.
june is you would like to know more about it just press on the link that i have on each post and you will see how it works.
i think my very first ruby tuesday post was september 23 2008. it was about my sister, betty who had to have a triple heart by-pass.
you would probably enjoy doing it too june.
my friend, felisol tried for so long to encourage me to join but i have never really been a joiner because i think if you do join something you should put your whole heart into it and do a good job.
i am also a part of the "pilgrim pals" blog but it has been so discouraging because although for the first couple of years there was great participation by most of the members, it has got down to just a few of us posting and that makes me kind of sad. if you have the time, take a look at it june...it is kind of a nice and homey blog..it is on my side links.
i also belong to the sisterhood of the traveling scarf and i really love this one!
and i also am very much taken up with a blog called cyber me and i am a joiner there and have made one great friend who i will not quit on and will keep in contact as long as she can put up with me..
don't work yourself too hard now june and you take care of yourself because none of us wants to be "free of you"!!
god bless you this day...love terry

I'll look into the various links sometime in the future. Things are kinda hectic at work right now so I am not able to spare the time. (Actually thats good cos it doesnt leave me much time to worry about Little Lumpy!)
Will blog during my available break times.
