Work and planned play times

Entering the busy phase at work.
This weekend I expect to have to bring work home to my mom's for the weekend.
Luckily my mom understands when her children go through the peak work periods and never expects too much from us during those times.

When I arrived at work this bright Monday morning I got a letter at my pigeon hole 'asking' me to work either this Sunday or the next Sunday or both!
Geez.....this is aside from the work that I intended to bring home over the weekend.
Well, I have decided.
I shall not die or work myself to death over my job.
I shall bring and intend to complete the work I bring home.
I cannot be at two places doing work.
I will not be AT work on Sunday.....this or the next.
I do my best at my work and in order to keep giving my best I also need a life.

Hehehe. Cyber world is where I complain and gather my thoughts and come to a thought out decision.
Terry, if u are reading this I hope that I have not bothered u too much with it ( I am such a complainer in the cyber world, am I not?).
Life generally is fair.
My schedules for this week stinks but I know I shall come thru with happy flying colors.

On the proposed vacation front, I applaud JAR for his seriousness and focused efforts in making the vacation trip a reality.
When u deal with many family members who say they are 'interested', 'considering' 'would like to know more', etc, etc but do NOT confirm their participation....it certainly is not easy.
There is a maximum number that a cruise ship can carry so one needs to make reservations early.
As it is, there is already a waiting list.
JAR and I discussed this topic several times over the phone.....waiting for actual confirmations from the others.
Finally today, he decided to make the bookings for those of us who confirmed.
Those who have not but are still interested will now have to book themselves I guess.

I am still hopeful that we will get more family members to join in.

three cheers for you june!
you will not be worked to death!
it took me many years to say no, not that it was work, because i only worked about three years of our 38 years marriage.
but saying yes all of the time when people needed favours. i learned finally that some people would take advantage!..ha!. i still do say yes to people that really DO need the help.
you are not a complainer at all. you have just made the right decision and that jar..wow!..he sure has given everybody a lot of time to decide and if he waited any longer than you guys would lose the chance to go, eh?
i am glad that your legs are feeling better..that will make life so much better, both at home and on the cruise and walking those trails with jar and the gang!
well it is almost 10:30 am here and lazy me, i just got up an hour ago!
nice to hear your update and really glad for your mom that you go there so much and make her happy that you still NEED her!...love terry

Hi Terry,
38 years of marriage! Congratulations to u and Bernie! U both are really lucky to be so blessed.

Its so true that sometimes u get taken advantage off when u can't say 'no'. I am glad that u do not allow them to do that to u.

What's the latest news on ur visits to ur specialist over there?
I hope u are in the best of health too.
I am happy to report that I am feeling better and stronger now. I just have to keep on doing all that I should.....exercise my leg and do not overstrain.

How's ur planning for ur Iowa/Manitoba trip going? Do u fly or drive all the way there? I am fascinated by the vast amount of flat land I see in the States...u the horizon that u see is soooo far away!

More laters.

june, you would hardly believe how lovely manitoba is...all those beautiful yellow and purple and golden fields full of flowers and wheat, the wind blowing through them, making them ripple in the warm sun.

'No news is good new'......thats what my sister says too. Hehe.
They'll prolly contact u if anything was the matter but it might also make sense to enquire about it.
U have a pace maker? I remember that when I was a student I went to a convent school over here. There was a Mother Marta who also had a pace maker. During those times she had to get the batteries or something replaced every few years. I wonder if the pace makers of these days work differently.
Work is almost taking over my life at present. Its the peak period but I am used to this.
I just get a little irritated when the administration want to overload us with more and more duties. I like to do a good job in what I do so that means there has to be an acceptable limit.
Hehe....still letting out work frustrations here!
Its time to get back to work now.
Talk more laters!
