Rereading past blog writings

I spent whatever free time I had in the last two days rereading my blog writings from day one!

I started doing it after my cyber friend Terry mentioned that she was reading my blog from when I had started.
Oh oh! Had I written anything that might embarass me?

I decided to do a quick check but ended up savouring each writing, reliving the happy and the sad times.
My blog is my expression of whatever I was going thru at a particular time.
One more thing that I learnt thru the rereading is how my relationships have evolved.
I also found that its quite normal for me to go thru feeling down and up...its ok cos every 'down' is normally followed by an 'up'.
I need to remember that for the next 'down' time.

I dont know what perceptions others who read my blog might have of me but its really for ME that I blog.
Maybe my blogging style is like me writing a book on me.
When I am gone it might be the only record of what my life basically was.
Sad thing tho is no one in my real life (other than JAR) knows of this blog.

I also thought of the few people who had over time responded to my writings.
Some no longer communicate. I hope they are well and happy in their real lives.
I am glad that there is Terry my most constant communicator.
She actually helped me along during some hard times (medically speaking)
Wouldnt it be wonderful if someday I could actually meet her?

As usual, its time to get back to my work.
I shall continue to blog, God willing.
:)

dear june..it is two thirty in the morning here and i just got up for a drink of water and saw your visit to my blog.
thank you for the kind comments there..you aren't that too late to wish bernie and me a happy anniversary!

there is nothing wrong with your blog at all and nothing to be embarrassed about..like you said...it is YOU!
don't feel too bad about your friends that don't know about your blog.
not too many of my family read mine either..and they know i have it. every so often when we are at mom and dad goldens, i read them a few posts and sometimes i print them out a post or two, i shall print out the one for dad golden about his dove tree..
yes, junie, many of my friends are "invisible friends", but that doesn't mean i love them any less than the ones i can see.
after all, eh, god is invisible too to all of us and yet we love him so much!
bernie is sound to sleep now, you are working hard and i guess i had better sleep a few more hours...ha!
now i am one that really needs my beauty sleep..haha..love terry

ps.. i met you through noel lewis's blog..i rarely hear from him anymore...he dd invite me as a friend on facebook, but i am rarely there and so on special days, i just go to his blog and give a comment to him and his wife karen..i am glad that he is doing well and is happy now.

Hi Terry,
Yes, when I reread my blog I noted Noel Lewis' notes. Haven't heard from him in a long while.
I guess he stopped reading my blog already ;).
Its good to learn from you that he and his new wife are doing great. I remember that I had a peek at his blog and at that time he was writing about missing his kids. Sad.

I saw those great pictures of u and Bernie taken when you were both so young. You've known him almost your whole lifetime! So lucky you both are!

Today I shall go for another visit to the physiotherapist.
Yuks! Another round of fighting for a parking space.

Anyways, the weekend is not too far away so thats something to look forwards to.
Talk to u laters.

dear june..you are at work and it is your last day until the weekend, eh?
i was just wondering how your therapy went.
i hope that your legs will be nice and strong by the time you go on your vacation.
i am happy to tell you that noel sees a lot more of his children now.
i see that at least one of them is on his facebook.
oh boy..i left your blog for a minute and i completely forgot that i didn't finish!
it was just like leaving you on "call waiting"!. i never used it to tell you the truth. the only time i used it once is when my sister phoned me and then someone else did so i put her on call waiting.
about a half an hour later i just remembered that i had forgotten gracey and so i called her back...her phone was busy. i thought the best thing to do was get into the car, drive to her house and there she was...STILL hanging on to the phone waiting for me...i felt so bad junie...and here i have just done the same thing to you!
i was hoping that you had still been on your lunch break, but no such luck...it is 3:10 pm where you are and you are probably heading home by now/
have a good night and let me know how your legs are...love terry

Hi Terry,
My legs are so much better now. I still have my physiotheraphy appointments (the parking there I still dread!).
I can feel the difference in the left leg....I seldom feel the pains now.
I still take the pain killers daily but will soon try to wean myself off them.
I had a laugh at ur 'call waiting' episode. Ur sis Gracey was so sweet to STILL be hanging on to the phone!
It is now Saturday morning here.
I got to my mom's Friday evening and took mom, sis in law and two nieces out for some noodles and a little look around at the hyper market.
Today we shall all go out eating and shopping again. That's our weekend highlights always!
Next week I shall have to work on Sunday and that's a bummer.
OK...time to have breakfast with my mom now.
Laters.

hi june..so nice to take your mom and sis in law and nieces out for noodles.
oh how i would have loved to come along with you guys.
i love pasta in any size or shape..yummy.my favourite is spaghetti with meatballs in my own recipe of sauce...without garlic..not even a sprinkle..ha!
i am not a sweet tooth and that is just as well..because pasta has already made me a fat so!
right now it is almost one in the morning but i got the sudden urge to cook. i am making a huge pot of chili con carne.
i usually make a large amount because that way i can give some to gracey and my friend sandy.
before i got so weak, i was able to help needy elderly people with their housework but seeing as i can't now, i do things that i am able to do like cook them meals.
and anyways, i love to cook..i cannot bake and it is not a pretty sight when i do!

so glad that your leg isn't hurting you.
i am looking forward to your vacation just as much as you are junie...well at least ALMOST as much!
and you have a glorious weekend off with your family..how nice is THAT?!
i don't know if you feel the same way with your mom, but i feel like mom golden is not only my mother but also a good friend.
bernie and i took her out for breakfast today and she so loves to do that and then she spends the next few hours at the second hand stores, finding all kinds of treasures!

another reason i am staying up is because i am making a birthday post for a very special little boy who lives i idaho.
my friend, mrs. mac has a little lad who has downs syndrome and he is one special treasure.
his name, nathan means 'gift of god" that is his middle name by which his mom calls him. his first name means "man warrior".
he will be 14 years old
well i best be saying so long for now.
those posts take me so long to do sometimes.
have a great weekend junie, and i will be thinking of you...love terry
