In the middle of the vacation

Here I am in the middle of my vacation. We had a great time seeing the red rocks and Indian ruins. We even went to see the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was snowing so I got more cold shivers than I got from the views from the scenic points. However, I am enjoying every moment of this vacation.
I spent Xmas with JAR and his brother's family. Present opening. Christmas breakfast. Then we went over to his cousin's for dinner and meeting a whole new range of people. I liked those people who welcomed me even tho I was a complete stranger.
I am alot more comfortable with where I am and who I am now. I will just enjoy what is and not yearn too much for what is not yet. A part of me is right where it belongs.

almost vacation

In a few hours I am done with work for this year. Yesssssssssss. Its time for vacation!
I'll be packing tomorrow, checking that every necessary stuff is included and try to exclude what would only be unnecessary baggage. Not an easy task. But its a task I do enjoy.
I have bought the trashy novel which I always do prior to long distance travelling. Thats gonna be my companion for the long flight over the oceans.
Sometimes I just like to observe other people who travel in the same flight. However its not considered polite to do so......thus the need for a book to read or to pretend to read.
I hope I get to meet many friendly folks this time.
JAR has promised to meet me at the airport. I hope he's there on time. It will be great to meet up again after half a year.
